This month has been a whirlwind of preparing materials, planning events, and getting back into the swing of things. We have a lot of activities happening this month!
On October 3rd, we celebrated the opening of our 61st anniversary art exhibition at Beidou Township Library, titled "Imagining a New World." Sixth grade students performed the war drum for leaders and members of the community, and gave us a sneak peek at their English Reading Competition passage. They've been working really hard to perfect their speaking, intonation, and movements for the competition. I'm sure they'll do well. Our students have worked so hard, they even practiced through the summer. Throughout the 61st anniversary celebration, we saw performances from other talented guests, and enjoyed all the art that the students made for the occasion, themed around animals to continue our school's theme of embracing nature through the Elephant Slide Mural project. Please go enjoy our student's art exhibition, open from October 3rd - October 30th in the Beidou Township Library.
On October 29th, Our sixth grade will perform at the Changhua County Reading Competition. They're one of the first groups to compete, so let's all wish them luck!
