Hello, allow me to introduce myself...

Hello, I'm Mrs. Stabler, and this is the website for my 8th grade Science classes, this is where I will post your homework assignments as well as resources you need.

I have two amazing little boys with my husband of 6 years, Ryan, Ryan Jr is 4 and James is 1; we share our house with my younger brother Matt, and our two dogs, Parker and Brooke. This is my 10th year teaching Science at Kawameeh, I have taught all three grades of middle school in that time, and all different kinds of Science topics. My favorite parts of Science to teach are Physics (the study of matter and its motion through space and time) and Astronomy (the study of all things beyond Earth).

My main goal for our time together this school year is to explore our Science curriculum together while focusing on the Next Generation Science Standards Science and Engineering Practices, so that each of you leaves Kawameeh prepared to continue your Science education in high school and beyond. More specifically I want to focus on holding strong classroom discussions and writing in Science, it is my hope that you will feel confident in your ability to use data to strengthen your scientific arguments by the end of our time together.
