TTIA was established in December 2010 and the mission of TTIA is to expedite the development of the Taiwan telematics industry and to strengthen its global competitiveness. To this end, TTIA is committed to integrating resources, creating added value and business opportunities, and promoting industrial standardization in order to help the telematics industry take deep roots in Taiwan and stay abreast with international developments.

Cloud Computing and IoT Association in Taiwan (CIAT) currently has more than 140 member companies jointly creating the most complete industry chain in information and communication technologies. Member companies include Nonprofit R&D Organization, industry leaders in telecommunications, major hardware manufacturers and software developers as well as vendors in systems integration and services. Since establishment, CIAT has facilitated the Taiwan Data Center‘s structural transition as it pivots from hardware to systems solutions and software services, solidifying the industry’s cloud system platform, which integrates high-level hardware and software. A very long industry chain is the unique facet of the development from IoT to cloud computing. CIAT has thus enabled Taiwan to become the bedrock of innovation in cloud computing technology as well as leading the domestic cloud computing industry to the international stage.
