Hello Hawks!! My name is Sana Abdussamed and I am the school counselor at Hagginwood Elementary School.  I am committed to providing support services for all students to enhance their academic, social/emotional, and college and career growth. The goal of my counseling program is to ensure all students develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will lead to behaviors that support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.

Hagginwood counseling program will provide a variety of services throughout the school year for students, parents, and families in order to support that growth. These services include:

• SEL Classroom Lessons

• Short-term Individual Counseling

• Short-term Group Counseling

• Crisis Intervention

• Conflict Mediation

• Positive Behavior  Intervention Support: Tier 2 

• Community Referrals and Resources

• Student and Parent Workshops

• Consultation
