Welcome Frontier families!  I am Mrs. Ridzik, the school counselor at Frontier Elementary. I'm here to support all students in building the skills that they need to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically. I believe that every student deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported at school.

I grew up in the Sacramento area and attended college at Sac State. I worked as a teacher for several years after college, and then I decided to return to Sac State to pursue a master's in social work and a credential so that I could support the mental health and well-being of students. I have worked as a school social worker and a counselor in Twin Rivers Unified School District since 2014. 

I support all students at Frontier by teaching social emotional classroom lessons, helping to resolve peer conflicts, providing short-term individual or small group counseling, and connecting families to needed resources
