10 Tips for Distance Learning Success

1. Designate and organize your study/work space

2. Get prepared, and make a plan

3. Gather all needed school supplies (device, pens, pencils, notebooks, textbooks, etc...)

4. Review and get familiar with your coursework, textbooks and teacher expectations.

5. Don't be shy, ask for help.  If you don't understand, it's likely other students don't either.

6. Keep your study area as quiet and distraction-free as possible.

7. Make lists, keep notes, and check things off as you go (think, Post-It notes).

8. Review your work regularly- this will help you recall the information you learned.

9. Think positively- "I can succeed."  "I may not understand yet, but I will."

10. Look after yourself.  It's ok if you don't understand information.
