AERIES

The Aeries Parent Portal is a website and app where parents can:

  • Track student assignments

  • See grades

  • Get information from their student's teacher and school

  • Send messages to their student's teacher

  • Update contact information

Parents and guardians who have not received an email with account details can get help creating an account by contacting the TRUSD Student Services Support Line via email at stu.service@twinriversusd.org.

Zoom is a conferencing platform that anyone can use on a computer or smart phone. It is free to use and requires a quick sign up so each person that uses it has their own login. You can see and hear participants. You can turn your mic and camera off.

Google Classroom

Google Classroom's purpose is to facilitate paperless communication between teachers and students and streamline educational workflow. Classroom allows teachers to create classes, post assignments, organize folders, and view work in real-time.

Online Resources for TK-12

Lessons covering kindergarten through early college math, grammar, science, history, AP courses, SAT preparation, and more. Content is available in 40 languages. Accessible on laptops and smartphones. (Grades K-12) 7th-12th should already have an account with login.

Hip-hop videos and instructional activities that promote literacy and spark creativity. (Grades K-12)

From the California Parks program, provides virtual (video) field trips to California’s State Park. (Grades K-12) BREAKING NEWS - Through their FaceBook page (https://www.facebook.com/PORTSProgram/), the PORTS teams will be hosting special events three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) you can access from home. Here’s the schedule:

    • 9am: K-2nd grades

    • 10am: 3-5th grades

    • 11am: 6-8th grades

    • 12pm: 9-12 grades

Online Resources for High School-9th-12th

Attend free, live AP review courses, delivered by AP teachers from across the country. These courses:

  • Are optional, mobile-friendly, and can be used alongside any work your teacher may give you.

  • Will be available on-demand, so you can access them any time.

  • Will focus on reviewing the skills and concepts from the first 75% of the course. There will also be some supplementary lessons including topics from the final 25% of the course.

  • To access the live classes and recordings, visit the AP YouTube channel. We’ll be adding more courses soon.
