You will need to transfer your brokerage in the MLS from your current broker to Realty of America.
If you have any pending transactions with your previous brokerage, they will remain under that firm. This means you’ll still need to complete the necessary paperwork for compliance and CDAs. You can receive your payment at the closing table; however, your former broker will retain their share and any associated fees.
Make sure you still have access to your previous system or have the correct contact information (name and email) to ensure those transactions are finalized smoothly.
1. Transfer broker offices by verifying and updating your contact information, including your private email address. After submitting your transfer request, your new Broker will be automatically notified. When you transfer offices, you will lose access to the Draft Listings. Listings in any state of entry in the MLS belong to the brokerage. Unless draft listings are fully published, they cannot carry over to your new brokerage.
2. If you have listings at your current brokerage, you will need to complete an MLS Listing Transfer Form
3. E-mail the completed form to the DMV Broker: dmv.broker@realtyofamerica.com
