TVMS Chorus

We are excited for 7th and 8th graders to audition for Newsies! Middle School students should attend all rehearsals on the schedule right now that say Full chorus and Musical Dance. The calendar is available on he Theater Arts Club website.

Upcoming Rehearsals:

  • October 31 4-6 (still time to trick or treat!)
  • Nov 6 and 13 for dance 3pm-6pm
  • Nov 7 and 14 for full chorus 4-6pm.

Auditions are on Wednesday, Nov 20 starting at 3:30 pm. The projected end time for the auditions is 7 pm.

  • 3:30-4:00 warm ups
  • 4:00 - Middle School students do singing audition (learned in rehearsals) followed by a dance audition in the auditorium.
  • Up to 10 students from the Middle School will be selected to join the official cast of the show as a result of this audition.

Any Middle School student that is accepted into the official cast of the show (ensemble), may possibly be called back for a second audition on Thursday, November 21st from 4-7, to read for the role of LES (the younger brother of Davey in the show). To clarify, just because a student does not get called back DOES NOT mean that they did not make it into the ensemble of the show. The call back is specifically for the role mentioned above.

The cast list will be posted on Friday, November 22nd at the end of the school day outside of the chorus room in the Middle School.
