TVHS Cellular Device Protocol
2026-2027
Students may have a cellular device(s) in their backpack, provided it is powered off and remains out of sight during instructional times.
Teachers may require students to place a cellular device(s) in a designated storage holder during class.
Exceptions may be approved for instructional purposes when a district-issued device cannot meet the instructional need and the building administrator is notified.
Cellular devices may be used only during class changes and lunch. Students are expected to use their devices responsibly and in accordance with all school rules.
EXCEPTIONS: Students with documented medical and/or educational needs in an approved written plan requiring access to a personal device will be permitted to use as outlined in the written plan.
NOTICE: The Twin Valley Board of School Directors reserves the right to amend or modify the information contained in this document at any time. Families will be notified of any Board-approved changes through the District's official communication channels.
