Hello!

Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Mrs. Berardi and I will be your math teacher this year. This is my sixth year at TVMS. I have a passion for math and can't wait to share that with you!

Here's a little more about me:

★ I got my teaching degree from Millersville University and I'm currently working on my masters there as well.

★ I have two adorable furbabies...a dog named Bennie and a cat named Willow. You will be seeing lots of pictures of them!

★ In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, and watching Netflix.

★ My husband and I bought a "fixer upper" home and just finished renovating it. It was a long process but a lot of fun!

I am very fortunate to co-teach with one of our wonderful learning support teachers, Ms. Panik. We teach together for every math block, so you will be getting to know her quite well!

Materials/Supplies Needed:

▢ Pencils (and lots of them!)

▢ Erasers

▢ Lined or grid paper, whichever is personal preference (can be a notebook or loose leaf)

▢ Red pen (or other color) for making corrections

▢ Highlighter

▢ Dry erase markers

▢ Headphones/earbuds

Students are also expected to bring their mat workbook and green toolkit folder every day (these are all provided at the beginning of the year).

Chromebooks must be fully charged at the beginning of each school day. I recommend getting into a routine of plugging it into the same spot each night before bed!

Additionally, students should always have an IR book with them in every class.
