The goal of this event is to bring together K-14 CTE teachers, counselors, support staff, leaders, and business and industry members to engage in rich professional development to help students navigate their path to careers by choice, not by chance.

We are pleased to present a program of thoughtful and relevant speakers, who will share their insights, experiences, best practices and useful tools. Whether you are an educator, an administrator, a counselor, a community or business partner, a parent or student, you will find a curated lineup of informative and relevant keynotes and breakouts.

The Tri-Valley Educational Collaborative (TEC) is a 30-year partnership between Dublin, Livermore Valley Joint, and Pleasanton Unified School Districts, Las Positas College, Tri-Valley Regional Occupational Program (TVROP), and business and industry members that seeks to ensure students learn and apply the academic thinking, interpersonal skills, and personal qualities needed to ensure post-high school success.


The Symposium is made possible through K-12 Strong Workforce Program (SWP): Round 1 funding.
The Tri-Valley Educational Collaborative's SWP project focuses on enhancing and expanding high quality CTE programs to maximize alignment with post-secondary opportunities.
