My name is Deputy Christine Peters. I have been a law enforcement officer for approximately 14 years. I started my career as a law enforcement officer with the Marion County Sheriff's Office in 2004 after graduating from the Central Florida Community College law enforcement academy.

During the course of my career, I worked as both a patrol deputy and a property crimes detective. In 2020, I obtained my bachelor's in Criminal Justice/Arson Investigations.

Shortly after being hired with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, I was approached about becoming a full-time School Resource Officer for the Villages Charter Intermediate School. I am honored to have been entrusted with the safety of the 2nd and 3rd grade students in my school.
