Certifications

Juniors will take the following certification exams:

  • Intuit Personal Finance Certification exam:  Financial literacy transcends academic study; it is a crucial life skill. In today's intricate financial landscape, the ability to make informed money decisions plays a significant role in both short-term stability and long-term well-being. Unfortunately, many individuals lack this essential knowledge. This program aims to fill that gap by validating key money management skills. It is specifically designed for students preparing for adulthood, job seekers aiming to acquire workforce-ready skills, and individuals seeking to enhance their financial confidence. The certification serves as proof that they have mastered the fundamentals of personal finance.  The Intuit Personal Finance certification equips learners with vital knowledge to manage their own finances effectively while supporting their early progression in the Finance Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway. It cultivates core financial literacy and consumer finance competencies that are foundational for success in finance and business careers.  By establishing a strong financial foundation, students are well-prepared to pursue further education and earn additional industry-recognized credentials as part of a comprehensive finance education journey.

  • The Critical Career Skills (CCS) Professional Communication exam:  Validates that candidates entering the workforce understand key communication principles and skills that are necessary to be effective in a work environment. The Critical Career Skills (CCS) Professional Communication exam validates that candidates entering the workforce understand key communication principles and skills that are necessary to be effective in a work environment. While the key skill being measured is communication, the nature of this exam will also help students with the other 3 of “the 4 C’s”

Seniors will take the following certification exams:

  • Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional exam: The day-to-day finances are the lifeblood of a small or medium business. Created by Intuit and Certiport, the Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional program starts to  establish an industry-standard for bookkeeping.  With this certification, students can earn an eye-catching qualification for their resume.
