ELA
We have begun the year working on character, setting, and plot in ELA. We have recently started learning about the different types of sentences and will begin our spelling next week.
Math
We started off with chapter 1 - we learned about place value, comparing and ordering numbers, using the base 10 system and so much more!! Our first test is soon!! We will then move on to multiplication.
Social Studies
We are learning about geography. We identified the 7 continents and will soon be learning about the geography of New York State. After that, we will begin learning about the early history of NY.
Science
We are starting Science off by learning about rocks, mountains, and volcanoes. We are asking ourselves if a volcano cold erupt in our own backyard.....
