At the beginning of the school year the FSS team and Guidance Counselors partner together to pair a high school student with a middle school or elementary student to provide mentorship. These students meet during their study halls or lunch/activity periods once a week throughout the year and build a relationship with each other through various topic based activities. This layer of support allows students to build connections and shows our younger students that no matter what barrier is present currently in their lives there are always ways to overcome.
If your High School student would be interested in becoming a mentor please contact Julianna. High School students are able to count mentoring towards community service hours and earn a seal on their diploma.
