On August 21st, 2017 the Great American Eclipse was seen throughout the United States. Maybe you saw the "partial eclipse" in Ohio?? If so, you would have seen "part" of the sun covered by the moon. But... in other parts of the country, people were able to view "totality" or a full solar eclipse.
Mr. Lower and his family, were one of those lucky people, who had the wonderful opportunity to view the fantastic "Total" solar eclipse in Kentucky. Day became night, you could see Venus and stars in the sky, the bugs came out, and the temperature dropped 20 degrees. It was such a surreal feeling. Do you know anyone who watched the full total eclipse?
Below are some pictures that my daughter Bayleigh took. What a great learning experience! Enjoy!!
