Due to the Covid-19 crisis we have navigated throughout this school year and the challenges it has posed to many of our students this summer, as a one time benefit to students, we will offer Credit Recovery to all eligible students for free. It is assumed that students seeking Credit Recovery have been present for classroom or virtual instruction during the regular school year but did not achieve a passing grade. Students must have earned at least 40% average for the year in any course they wish to take in Credit Recovery to be eligible. The Credit Recovery courses will run from June 15th through July 22nd with mandatory in-person sessions from 9:30am-11:30am Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A student must have at least a 40% final average grade for the chosen course and a student may enroll in a maximum of 2 credit recovery courses during the summer program. Registration forms should be submitted to Mrs. Cristofano in the Counseling Office. If you are or anticipate registering for Summer Credit Recovery and will need transportation to and/or from JBHS for your In-Person sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 please complete the information in this Summer Credit Recovery Transportation Survey as soon as possible so that our Transportation Department can plan bus routing.
