Summer Essential 5th Grade:

Our Summer Accelerated Math course moves at a faster pace than the regular school year. While students are learning the essential 5th grade math standards, they will revisit these same concepts during the school year with much greater depth, additional practice, and more opportunities to strengthen their understanding.

Please view summer grades as a snapshot of students' current progress rather than a final measure of their ability. The purpose of this course is to build a strong foundation and increase familiarity with key concepts before the school year begins. Students who put forth consistent effort and engage in class are setting themselves up for success, even if they encounter challenging topics along the way.

We are confident that the knowledge and experience gained this summer will give students a meaningful head start and help them feel more prepared and confident when these concepts are explored in greater detail during the regular school year.
