Preparing Your Device for a Virtual Classroom

In preparation for your child to learn virtually this year, please consider the following tips:


1.) Sign out of all other accounts on your device and web browser.
See the image on the top right for the steps to do this. 


2.) Sign in using your child's student @etusd.org email account
(ex. 1234567@etusd.org). 
This should be the only account logged into your device and web browser to prevent any login issues. This is the email that should be used to sign into any TUSD platforms or Google Services. 


3.) Sync your child's student email account with your Chrome web browser.
This will ensure that all the TUSD extensions (learning tools) are available to your student. See the image on the bottom right for the steps to do this. 


4.) Check your device and web browser settings to make sure it is up to date. 
It is usually best if your child uses Google Chrome as the primary web browser. Click HERE for directions on updating Chrome. 


5.) Log out of the account and shut down your device each night to allow for updates.
