I will be using Google Classroom for all assignments and communication with students.
I will update PowerSchool weekly.
I will use Google Meet for class sessions, the link will be in Google Classroom.
Students will need to show their work on most assignments by taking a picture of their paper. If they do not have a device that takes pictures, please borrow a Chromebook from the school.
About me
My name is Mr. Kroesen. I started my teaching career at Lincoln Elementary School. I taught third grade there for 1 year. The next year I moved to Seaside Elementary School. I had the opportunity to teach fourth and fifth grade there for 8 years. My next adventure I was off to middle school. I have taught at Casimir for the past 11 years teaching Math and Science. My two favorite subjects!
I love to travel and spend time with my family. I have 9-year-old twins…that keep me very busy! My wife Sylvia is a Physicians Assistant in Torrance. I also like technology and a good cup of coffee!!!
I can’t wait to meet all of the new incoming 6th grade students and look forward to a great year. I know we are all starting distance learning, but I hope to get back to the classroom soon and have the chance to work with you all!!!
