In 2021, TUSD decided to join the eSports world by becoming a member in the PlayVS league.  Students from Jefferson participated under the umbrella of West High School.  Players had to be in 8th grade and 13 1/2 years old to qualify.   That year we participated in League of Legends & Super Smash Bros.  In 2022, the middle schools came together to form their own league through TUSD, which allowed all grades the opportunity to participate.  We have since played in our own TUSD Middle School League, playing all 7 other middle schools in Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., and Rocket League.
