Torrance Adult School:
EL Civics Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs)
CURRICULUM
Q: Do I have to use the curriculum materials provided by Torrance Adult School?
A: No. You can use any materials or resources as long as you lead your students to perform the Language and Learning objectives outlined in your Unit Overview.
Q: Can I download and adapt Torrance Adult School’s materials?
A: Yes, absolutely! You will find the materials in Word or PDF format. All we ask is that Torrance Adult School be cited as the original source.

Q: Can students who missed testing day take the EL Civics test?
A: Yes, there are make-up days scheduled for all sites; GAC, LAC, and HAC. Refer to the Testing Schedule (shared by email) for exact dates.
Q: Can students retake the EL Civics tests?
