Alicia Sewell is an Instructional Technology Coach for Tuscaloosa City Schools in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She has a Bachelor’s and Master's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. Ms. Sewell was a PreK, Kindergarten, and first-grade educator prior to accepting her role as an Instructional Technology Coach. In 2014, Ms. Sewell was nominated by her colleagues as Alabama’s Teacher of the Year. She has presented professional development on technology integration, classroom management, and parent involvement throughout the state of Alabama as well as outside of state lines. Ms. Sewell is currently earning a Specialist in Educational Technology at Boise State University. Soon after, Ms. Sewell plans to work towards her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.
Cherelle Young is an Instructional Technology Coach for Tuscaloosa City Schools in Tuscaloosa, AL. She has experience in presenting at regional technology conferences for in-service educators. She has presented at professional development workshops within school districts for teachers throughout the state of Alabama. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University Montgomery, Master of Arts degree in English for Speaker of Other Languages from Auburn University, and currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Alabama.
Aishia Daffin is an Instructional Technology Coach for Tuscaloosa City Schools in Tuscaloosa, AL. Prior to accepting the role as a Technology Coach, she spent eight years as a secondary science teacher. In addition to conducting various district-level professional development sessions on a wide range of instructional technology topics, Ms. Daffin also presented at ISTE 2017 about the role of shared leadership while implementing a district-wide digital transformation. Ms. Daffin has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Biology Secondary Education from Talladega College, a Master of Arts degree in Biology Education from the University of Southern California, and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Liberty University.
Miyoshi Juergensen is an Instructional Technology Coach for Tuscaloosa City Schools in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Dr. Juergensen has fifteen years of experience in education as a high school English Language Arts teacher, adjunct professor of multicultural education, and instructional leader focused on instructional technology in both secondary and post-secondary classrooms. She holds a doctorate in Educational Studies from Emory University; a bachelor's degree in English, Secondary Education from North Carolina Central University; and, a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
