Hello! I'm so happy to be the school counselor at The Rock! I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice here in Tuscaloosa.

I am from Birmingham, Alabama.  I'm a graduate of Hueytown High School (Go gophers!).   

I've been married to my husband Aaron for 13 years. We have two smart, sweet, funny, beautiful little girls: Ava (12) and Alice (10).

I discovered my passion for school counseling years ago while volunteering as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I saw how well the counselor advocated for my Little Sis and I knew that I wanted to be a school counselor.

I went to the University of South Alabama (GO JAGS!), UAB (Go Blazers!) and the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!)  I earned my master's in counseling at the University of Central Florida.  

I have worked in several different schools in Florida and Alabama as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, teacher, and as a school counselor.

I love gardening, baking, and mountain biking.
