Day 3-8/28/15 Hug Point and Short Sands Beach

The Pacific Northwest finally got a little much needed rain overnight so this morning started out pretty foggy. After a delicious crab quiche breakfast and interesting conversation with our B&B host we drove a few miles north to Hug Point State Park and walked on the beach. The tide was starting to roll in but we had time to explore a few caves, see the waterfall, and check out the old trail along the base of the mountain where the stagecoaches traveled before there were roads cut through the mountains.
