Family & Consumer Science Education

Expectations

Students will be expected to complete daily assignments and individual/group projects. There will be written assignments, group projects, individual projects, food labs, daily tasks, quizzes, tests, etc. Success in the class will depend on the effort YOU put into it.

Class will be held from 12:40 - 1:25. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of class.

Every class hour is recorded. It is an expectation that the students watch any class that they miss.

Grading Scale

The Family and Consumer Science grading scale will follow the grading scale provided by Turtle Lake - Mercer High School. The grading scale is as follows:

94 - 100 A

87 - 93 B

80 - 86 C

70 - 79 D

0 - 69 F

About me

My name is Melora Buchholz. I teach Family and Consumer Science and Business Classes at Turtle Lake-Mercer School. I am starting my fourth year of teaching, year two in Turtle Lake-Mercer and year two for Great Western Network. I am excited for what this year has to bring!
