Advanced Placement (AP) classes provide students the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school. AP classes are nationally-aligned courses that assist students in preparing for the national AP exams given in May. Please visit the College Board website for more information about AP courses, testing and fees, scores, the calculator policy, and more.
AP exams are optional tests that are for students who wish to earn college credit. With a qualifying AP exam score, students who attend college can skip introductory college courses, saving families both time and money. Check out the AP Credit Policy Search for additional information on participating institutions.

AP Exam Registration and Payment
Exam registration will happen during the fall semester for all AP students across the United States. To ensure accurate and timely processing of all AP test registrations, AP Exam Registration dates will be September 11 through October 22. The deadline to pay fees for all AP exams is before the registered exam date. Payments may be made online in Skyward Family Access, or directly at the THS main office by cash or check (payable to the School District of Beloit Turner).
Fee Waivers
Wisconsin Statutes 120.12(22) provides equity and access for students to be able to take AP exams each year. In accordance with this statute, the School District of Greenfield will pay all AP exam fees for students who qualify for free or reduced priced meals. Students who do not qualify for free or reduced meals must pay all exam fees. The fee waiver is automatically applied to eligible students and no additional actions or steps need to be taken.
