The Chromebook insurance enrollment window for all TUSD 6-12 grade students has been extended to September 15th, 2025.
(Portal will be open June 1, 2025, for families who would like to purchase their 2025-26 insurance before the beginning of the school year)
For damaged devices:
a) File a claim under your account at schooldevicecoverage.com.
b) After you file your claim, print the claim form PDF or write down your claim number.
c) Take your damaged device and the claim information to your school library. You will be given a loaner device.
d) Your repaired device will be returned to you in two weeks.
For Loss or Theft: File a claim under your account at schooldevicecoverage.com. Notify the school of the incident and a police report will need to be filed within 5 days of discovery of the incident. Email to support@schooldevicecoverage.com a copy of the police report, your claim id, along with any fees that the school has or will issue to you for the lost/stolen device. Claim payment will be made to the Insured who will be responsible for paying the school for any imposed fees.
Para dispositivos dañados:
a) Presente un reclamo con su cuenta en schooldevicecoverage.com.
b) Después de enviar su reclamo, imprima el formulario de reclamo en PDF o anote el número de reclamo.
c) Lleve su dispositivo dañado y la información del reclamo a la biblioteca de su escuela. Se le entregará un dispositivo en préstamo.
d) Su dispositivo reparado le será devuelto en dos semanas.
Por pérdida o robo: Presente un reclamo con su cuenta en schooldevicecoverage.com. Notifique a la escuela sobre el incidente y presente un informe policial dentro de los 5 días posteriores al descubrimiento del incidente. Envíe un correo electrónico a support@schooldevicecoverage.com con una copia del informe policial, su identificación de reclamo, junto con cualquier tarifa que la escuela le haya cobrado por pérdida o robo. El pago de la reclamación se hará al Asegurado, quien será el responsable de abonar las tasas a la escuela.
