Meet the Teachers

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working with junior high students, and I'm really looking forward to an amazing year!

I earned my teaching degree from UNI and my Master's from Viterbo. I've taught elementary and junior high at Turkey Valley. I'm a proud Trojan!

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, gardening and playing games.

Although you may see me teaching a variety of subjects, math is one of my very favorites! Teaching math is what I always wanted to do!

I graduated from Wartburg with a BA in Mathematics, went to UNI for Special Education endorsements and have a Masters degree from UNI. This will be my 32nd year at Turkey Valley.

I spend my free time with my family and helping on the farm. I enjoy photography, reading and just learning new things.

I am in my 6th year of teaching 9-12 grade mathematics at Turkey Valley. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Mathematics Teaching and Athletic Coaching and a MA in Secondary Mathematics. 

In addition to teaching, I am also a Turkey Valley Robotics Team (TVRT) Coach and Cords Supervisor. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, playing cards & board games, and traveling. In addition to numerous states and Washington D.C., I have traveled to Canada, Germany, and Switzerland.
