The Turbles - Terms and Conditions


Booking and Payment

A deposit must be paid within 5 days of booking. If your reservation is made within 8 weeks of your arrival date the full amount is payable upon booking. No contract will exist until we receive this amount and confirm your booking. The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks before arrival. If the balance is not received in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat the booking as concealed by you and the cancellation charges in accordance with the clause below will apply.


Alterations and Cancellation by the Owner

Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any significant changes to confirmed arrangements, or that specific accommodation ceases to be available as booked, this may happen. In this event we will refund you all money you have paid.


Cancellation by the Client

The deposit is taken to secure the booking and reserve those dates. If the guest cancels or the balance is not paid on time, the booking deposit will not be refunded.


If a guest cancels once the holiday has been paid for in full a partial refund may be given if we are able to get another booking. Any refund given will be at our discretion and will be less deposit paid and an admin fee.


If the balance payment is not receive at least four weeks before the holiday starts, the booking may be cancelled.

Your use of the property

Please remember The Turbles is Adults Only - children are not able to stay or visit. If these terms and conditions are not adhered to the owner reserves the right to terminate the holiday without compensation.


The client and his party are required to apply normal security precautions for the prevention of theft or burglary.


The client will leave the property in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the period of occupation. The owner may make a reasonable additional charge for additional cleaning work if the property is left in a dirty condition.


In the event of damage to the premises or loss of property, please inform us immediately (except that minor damage or loss need not be reported between 2000 hours and 0900 hours). 


If we consider you or any member of your party is behaving in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger or upset to any other person or damage to property, we will be entitled to terminate the holiday of the person(s) concerned. The person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation and we will have no further responsibility to them. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.


You will be responsible for making full payment for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party during your stay.

The owner has a right to enter the property at any time to effect urgent essential repairs to the property or the fixtures and fittings of the property and this right extends to any tradesperson or maintenance worker appointed by the owner.


If you are unable to come due to COVID-19 (or similar) restrictions you will be welcome to

move your dates to a more suitable time. However, we will not be able to issue a refund. Please ensure you have sufficient travel insurance to cover the cost of your holiday if you are unable to come due to COVID-19 etc. If we cancel your holiday for any reason we will of course offer you a full refund of any money you have paid.


Force Majeure

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier(s) of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.
