On 11th October 2022, me and my partner started drafting the storyline. But on 28th November 2022, we completely scrapped the idea of the first one because I didn’t like the storyline.
On 13th December 2022, we finished writing the story.
On 17th January 2023 and 19th January 2023, we met up so we could finish around 10 pages together.
We finished the book on 24th January 2023.
On 10th January 2023, we started illustrating the story.
On 6th February 2023, we did our storytelling to Year 3A in the library. They listened and asked a lot of questions about how long it took to write and illustrate the book.
We did a post survey on Year 3. There were 35 students who answered our post survey.
We made them rate our book and pictures from a scale of 1 to 5.
57% rated our drawings a 5. 31% rated our drawings a 4. 9% of students rated our drawings a 3. 3% of students rated our drawings a 2.
63% of students rated our book a 5. 29% of students rated our book a 4. 6% rated it a one. 3% rated our book.
86% of students were inspired to make a book after we did our storytelling. 15% of students were not inspired to make a book after we did our storytelling.
From the post survey, we can conclude that it was successful. Most students thought our book and storytelling was good. Most people were inspired to make books after we did our storytelling.
