Making and playing board game
Reflection
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills I used:
Research skills: I used my observing skills and when I was searching about what board games were and what the benefits were and my planning skills when I planned the time to do my actions.
Communication skills: I used my speaking skills and presenting skills when I was doing my pre-survey and campaign.
Self-management skills: I used my time-management skills and organising skills when I managed my time when doing work using my timetable.
Social skills: I used my group-making skills when I made groups consisting of year 1 and 2 students when playing my board game.
Thinking skills: I used my comprehension skills when I tried to learn more about board game by researching in Google.
After my board game, I asked them about my board game and comment on a piece of green paper. Some of them said that it was very fun.
My Personal Comment:
I like doing this PYPX even though it was very tiring since I had to do it alone . I could help teach people and have fun at the same time. I have learned a lot of things from this PYPX and I should also say thanks to the mentors and teachers who also helped me do it.
Conclusion
After my board game in the playground, I asked the year 1 and 2 teachers if their students math skills have improved. I have concluded that some students are now better in math and there are less students that had difficulty doing math.
