Our first 2 discussions is when we were getting to know each other and start to talk about our actions and interest. After we finalize our actions and interest we started to find our Primary and Secondary resource but it wasn't that hard but when I wanted to search the primary source it was hard because some artist in Indonesia doesn't make mixed media art pieces and good thing one of my mentors has friends that are artist, there names were Ms Kiki and Ms Christine.
Interviewing Our Expert Speaker
When I asked Ms. Christine 'What is mixed media art and the materials that she suggested?' so she answered that mixed media art is an art process of putting different art together in a piece of art that can challenge your creativity in multiple ways and she also said that you can use any material you want as long as it is something soft like silk and something rough like wood.
When I interviewed Ms. Kiki, she gave me tips on making mixed media art, and the tips are:
I need to make sure the weight of the other media is bearable for the base. For example do not stick a stone to paper because it's too heavy
Make sure I use the proper adhesive (fox glue, super glue, glue gun, glue stick, etc)
If mistake happens, let it and improve the mistake to something else
Campaign and Workshop in Year 2
At my campaign with 2N was in the hall and before it started I asked them to bring there stationary because they are going to do an activity after I explain about my mixed media art. When I started with my presentation, I asked them what they think about one of my mixed media art and they said some pretty good answers. When I was done I asked them to make their own mixed media art and they had pretty good designs, I also provided them materials and tools
Now my campaign with 2D was in 2D's class and before it started I asked them to bring there stationary because they are going to do an activity after I explain about my mixed media art. When I started with my presentation, I asked them what they think about one of my mixed media art and they said some very interesting answers. When I was done I asked them to make their own mixed media art and they had pretty good designs, the most interesting part of the activity with 2D was that they were able to use some of their own materials from their class even if I provided them with some.
After doing my workshop I needed to do a gallery walk so other grades and people from other school can know what we are doing
After doing the gallery walk I did a post survey for year 2 so I know what they learned for year 2 and if they like my workshop. All the comments were postive and they gave me inputs.
