Our Purpose:

Welcome to Tumwater School District Music:

2020 has brought on challenges that we as teachers, students, and musicians are quickly trying to adapt to. Due to the pandemic of Covid-19, our classrooms haven't met in a traditional sense since March 13 (ironically a Friday the 13th ).

Moving forward our state has directed educators to instruct remotely, which is difficult for many of our music classes.

In dark times we find light by coming together and by filling our time with activities that bring us joy. Music is one of those activities. We are here because we love music, we love learning and sharing...and we think that the ARTS and especially MUSIC is ESSENTIAL!!!

These opportunities are here for you to connect and grow, to keep you playing and to remind you all that music can bring us together...even when we are apart.
