Tulsa Global Alliance
Tulsa Global Alliance manages the programming for Tulsa’s eight Sister Cities for the City of Tulsa. Contacts are sanctioned by Tulsa's Mayor. Each of Tulsa's City Councilors acts as an honorary Ambassador. Being a Sister City in the International Sister Cities Network means maintaining in-depth interactions between the cities.
How do they interact? Hundreds of area citizens coordinate complementary relationships with counterpart citizens and leaders in each of the eight foreign cities. Relationships involve educational exchanges, citizen travel, dignitary visits, internships, business interests, and tourism.

Tulsa has eight Sister Cities around the world: San Luis Potosi, Mexico; Beihai, China; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Amiens, France; Tiberias, Israel; Utsunomiya, Japan; Zelenograd, Russia; and Celle, Germany.

For our last challenge of the camp, we’re going to try to whip up an authentic Indian dish - with adult supervision of course.
Begun bhaja is ridiculously simple to make. You smear thickly sliced brinjals in turmeric and seasoning, and fry them on medium heat in a skillet. The sugar in the marinade allows the brinjals to develop a wonderfully amber-coloured crust, and deepens the flavour of the dish. If you have 20 minutes to spare, give this recipe a try. Eat it along with steaming rice and dal, and you will not regret it.
