Digital Citizenship Lessons
Students spend a significant amount of their day using the internet both socially and academically. As educators we have a responsibility to educate our students in online safety and digital citizenship. In fact, federal law requires schools to provide digital citizenship and internet safety training for every student in grades K - 12. Tulsa Public Schools will use Power School to document each student's training. Links to lessons from Common Sense Media and other resources for each grade are organized in the upper right hand corner under the home drop down arrow menu. Most grades have two 45-minute lessons which can be easily broken into smaller segments to fit your schedule.
If you have been assigned a digital citizenship class with which to work, please click on Teacher Directions to create lessons in Power School.
