Miss Seidel is the elementary STEM teacher. She spends her day working with all the students at both Bethel & Penn-Bernville. This is Miss Seidel's 2nd year at Tulpy! She loves being the STEM teacher and encouraging students to explore, create, & problem solve. When she isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, & watching Netflix!

Mrs. Herbine is the Music teacher at Penn Bernville. She loves singing, teaching music, and working with students on becoming better musicians. This will be her 3rd year at Tulpy! When she isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and going places!

Mrs. Kerchner (Miss Clauser) is the Music teacher at Bethel. She loves singing, teaching music, and working with students on becoming better musicians. This is her 2nd year at Tulpy! When she isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, watching hockey, camping, traveling, and shopping!

Mr. Baer is the elementary Physical Education teacher.  He travels between the elementary buildings teaching students K-6 about Physical Education.  He enjoys helping students learn ways to improve their health and increase their understanding of the positive benefits that physical exercise can have on their life.   This will be Mr. Baer's 25th year teaching at Tulpehocken.  When he is not at school, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and participating in various physical activities.

Miss Weist is the elementary Agriculture teacher.   This is Miss Weist's 2nd year of teaching at Tulpehocken. She has gotten the majority of her agriculture experience while being raised on a dairy and beef farm. Her goal is to show students that agriculture is all around us and how important it is to the world. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, planting, working with animals and being outdoors.

I have been teaching art for 16 years.  I teach at Penn Bernville on days 1, 2, and 3, and at Bethel on days 4, 5, and 6.  My hope is to create a love and respect for art for all students, whether it is creating arts and crafts or just for the pure enjoyment of looking at it.  Remember "Art Rocks"!

Mr. Schrack is the instrumental music teacher and looks forward to teaching you how to play an instrument to be part of the Blue Band and Gold Band!  What's your favorite instrument?  Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Bells, Percussion, and more.  Mr. Schrack loves teaching all things band while also enjoying spending time outdoors with his wife and son!  

Ms. Baxter is the elementary librarian and looks forward to helping foster your love of reading. Ms. Baxter is a graduate of Kutztown Unversity and Drexel University with a Master's in Library and Information Science.  She has been teaching at Tulpehocken since 2009 and is in her 18th year of teaching library.  In her spare time she likes to play piano, practice yoga and you guessed it, READ!
