We are making some changes to Zoom settings in order to address unauthorized access to Zoom class sessions. This page will show you how to set up Zoom to log in with your Google credentials, setting your name to match your Google email and allowing us to restrict our Zoom classes to only accounts issued by our school.
First, on your Chromebook open the Zoom app by clicking the circle in the bottom left of the screen, typing Zoom in the search box and clicking on the Zoom application.
2. Once the App is open, Click on Sign In.
3. Click on Sign in with Google.
4. Choose your school account.
5a. Click Create Account.
5b. If you have previously created an account, you may get the following message below. If you get this message, you need to click on Consolidate Account and then click Continue.
6. At this point you will be returned to the Zoom App, now signed in. Leave the Zoom App open, return to Chrome and click on the link for the Zoom session you want to join. Your Zoom will stay logged in unless you close the app or restart the computer.
