All pedagogical materials, including recorded lecture videos, are available for participants at https://elearning.yambo-code.eu/
In addition, a MOOC developed at the Ecole Polytechnique is freely accessible at https://www.coursera.org/learn/density-functional-theory and is also actively used during the school, in particular for flipped classroom activities.
Open discussions on topics beyond DFT are also planned. There will be a “career & opportunities” session, where possible career paths for young students will be discussed and analyzed together, sharing the different experiences of more senior participants, and introducing how to find and apply for fellowships and job opportunities.
The second open discussion will be on broad questions related to social responsibility of science, scientific integrity and diversity in science, which we believe to be crucial issues for the global scientific community. The goal is to raise collective awareness on the way science is carried out and on the motivations and the purposes of scientific research.
