Organisations and businesses across the Tuggeranong Valley are hosting events and activities throughout November to celebrate SouthFest 2023.
In this way, SouthFest showcases the places and connections that make the Valley such a wonderful place to live.

The Leisa Keen Trio is one of Canberra’s busiest and most popular jazz combos, performing a smooth blend of well known jazz tunes, and pop tunes with their own “jazz treatment” of “Postmodern Jukebox” styled arrangements. Equally at home playing Rock’N’Roll, Soul and Disco, this diverse outfit consists of piano/vocals, drums and a horns.
In constant demand for weddings and parties, Leisa also brings 25 years of musical theatre and cabaret experience to the trio, adapting it to suit both cabaret and corporate events. Expect an evening of good fun, groovey tunes and a touch of improvisation that will take you to a place beyond the mundane. You’ll be surprised, challenged, invigorated, stimulated and all together inspired.

The India Australia Association of Canberra are throwing a pawsome party for all pooches and their family on Saturday 25th November from 10am onwards.
Come join us for a day to spoil your most beloved canine companions, expressing your gratitude for their unwavering love, and demonstrating your reverence for our best friend. This day will also be dedicated to raising awareness about the contribution dogs make towards a good quality of life and psychosocial wellbeing.

Keeping the Circular Economy moving repair, recycle, repurpose, reuse & reduce. Bring your broken items to the Tuggeranong Repair Cafe so they can be fixed and saved from landfill.
Our multi talented repairers will show and guide you how to repair your own household items. Services can include: repair of lawn mower & whipper snipper, clothing, jewellery, electrical items, toys and xmas decorations, bikes and scooters; sharpen garden tools & knives; repairs and advice for laptops, IPADs, iPhones, Apple software.
If you’re not sure if your item can be fixed bring it down and the repairers will assess and advise.
Also use our recycling hub for washed lids, bread tags, blister packs, old keys, socks, sports balls, glasses and small E waste.
Impact Community Hub will be providing home cooked refreshments and tea/coffee.

Celebrate the beauty of Canberra's south with a wander through Urambi Hills Nature Reserve on Sunday 26 November.
This walk and talk will be co-guided by Urambi Hills ParkCare members Lousie Curham and Glenn Schwinghamer alongside Sally Holliday from Landcare ACT's Wellbeing through Nature program with support from Southern ACT Catchment Group.

Self run community group providing women with young children an opportunity to meet regularly, do art and craft, exchange information and learn new skills.
Holds creative sessions and invites guest speakers to interact in a casual, friendly and supportive environment. Child care is provided from 9.30am-12.15pm. Children are also welcome to stay with their mother if that is preferred.
