PRIME Version (Spray Resurfacing): Completed in up to 4 hours, this option includes all services from the ESSENTIAL version with a spray technique for a superior finish.
An additional fee of $100 will be applied for services involving walk-in bathtubs (bathtubs with a door). This fee accounts for the specialized handling and techniques required for these types of bathtubs.
PLATINUM Version (Spray Resurfacing): Completed over up to 3 days with two visits and 7 hours of work, this premium option includes:
All services from the PRIME version
Application of premium primer and white paint on the first visit
Application of a clear coat on the second visit to enhance gloss and durability
Warranty: 3 years for bathtubs without prior painting, 1 year for previously painted bathtubs
Warranty Terms:
The warranty covers peeling or detachment of the paint from the surface. It does not cover damages such as scratches from objects, stains from chemicals, loss of gloss due to the use of inappropriate cleaning products, or services performed by third parties on the bathtub.
For a 2 or 3-year warranty, stripping is essential if the bathtub has a history of being painted.
Bathtub Stripping Service:
Our bathtub stripping service is designed to address issues with previous paint jobs, whether due to wear, cracks, or improper application. This service includes meticulous scraping and sanding of the surface to completely remove the existing paint. We offer two options: the interior of the bathtub for $160 or a comprehensive service that includes both the interior and exterior for $240. This procedure is recommended for coatings in poor condition and is an essential step in preparing the surface for a new coating.
Deep Cleaning: Completed in up to 2 hours, includes:
Preparation and sanitization of the bathtub
Scraping of residues
Application of products for the removal of fungi and bacteria
Caulking at joints with walls and floor
Application of products to restore shine and enamel for cast iron bathtubs
Our Deep Cleaning service for bathtubs offers a complete revitalization for metal and fiberglass surfaces. Specializing in metal bathtubs, such as cast iron, the process includes deep cleaning of soap residues, stains, mineral deposits, and fungi, restoring the enamel's shine. For fiberglass tubs, where stains may be more persistent, additional procedures such as painting may be necessary. This treatment not only sanitizes but also enhances the aesthetic and extends the durability of your bathtub, ensuring a healthier and more visually appealing bathing environment.
Restrictions apply for the "Deep Cleaning" service on bathtubs, especially if there is a history of painting, use as a construction bucket, or presence of damages such as cracks and rust. In these cases, resurfacing, which applies a new protective layer, may be the more suitable option.
Important Note for Clawfoot Bathtubs (also known as pedestal or freestanding bathtubs): Due to the unique characteristics and vintage design of clawfoot bathtubs, all quotes for services on these models require the submission of photos, videos, or a scheduled visit for a full assessment.
