About

Spanish Club was established in 1999 to help introduce students to medical Spanish and culture that is so necessary for conveying compassionate care in the Bay Area and beyond. Taught by Dr Teresita Menini, notable alumni include Dr Victor Nuño and many other current Touro professors and faculty.

Spanish is an essential language to have if you are planning to practice to California or pretty much anywhere else in America. The purpose of Spanish Club is to have fun getting to know multilingual patient care through H&P activity for translators and patient care. Spanish Club has activities for all skill levels, whether you are starting out or want more of a challenge. Being a member of our club is especially beneficial if you are part of the Osteopathic program but not able to take the Spanish elective by Dr Menini (which you totally should take during 2nd year!)
