All TTUSD students must complete 30 hours of approved community service before graduation. Community service is unpaid, voluntary work that benefits the community and helps students get involved beyond the classroom.

How Many Hours Do I Need?
Students must complete 30 total hours before graduation. A good way to stay on track is to aim for the recommended hours below each year.
You can complete your hours early — you do not have to wait until senior year! If you finish all 30 hours before senior year, you've met the graduation requirement.
Note: Pathways classes have separate semester-by-semester community service expectations, so be sure to follow the requirements set by your Pathways teacher as well.
Transfer student? Your requirement is based on the grade level you enter TTUSD and the years you have remaining.
Internal transfers between TTUSD schools are not excused from the full requirement.

Find an Opportunity
Choose an opportunity that interests you or browse current options here
Get Pre-Approved
Make sure your activity is approved before you volunteer. Not every activity qualifies for credit.
Volunteer
Complete your service and make sure an adult supervisor can verify your participation and hours.
Record Your Hours
Complete the required tracking form and turn it in to career desk in the office. Keep a copy for your records.
