for Digital Learning
As coaches we support you with your school based teaching and learning - now we will be supporting you with your virtual teaching and learning. This site is designed to be a resource bank for getting started and leveraging our district approved apps for communicating with our students and their families during this interesting time.
What Should I Be Doing Right Now?
- updated 3/20 -
While our schools are closed, and until we receive further guidance, faculty are not to conduct instruction of any kind because we can not yet ensure educational access for ALL students learning thus all instruction is on hold until further notice. - per 3/20 communication from Traci Rose
Check in with students once a week to:
Ensure that families know how to access the TTSD At Home Learning Resources
Provide an opportunity to ask questions as needed
Check on social emotional health of students
Guidelines for Providing Optional Resources Outside of the TTSD At Home Learning Resources
Continue to use only digital tools that are covered under our Vendor Data Confidentiality Agreement
Do not share student ID numbers through email
Feel free to collect missing/unfinished work from before the COVID-19 closure. This is not required, but is additional work students can work on.
If we cannot provide instruction, how are students receiving “supplemental education and learning support to students to the extent practical through independent study and other appropriate options” as outlined in the executive order?
