A little about Mrs. Havens...

Hello there!

I'm Janine Havens and will be your loved one's 4th grade teacher this year.  I am so excited about getting to know you better! I started teaching 27 years ago in the 4th grade and have spent all these years teaching mostly 4th and 5th grade with a sprinkle of 3rd grade. 

Although I love to travel, I've made Oregon home my whole life. When I'm not at school I really like to cook, bike,  play tennis, walk my dog, hike, ski, read, and go out to eat. Some of my favorite things are Coke Zero, Nerd Clusters, microwave popcorn and the NYT crossword Puzzle. I live In NW Portland with my dog Barry Manilow and sometimes our class bunny Sparkle.
