What is OBOB?
What is OBOB?
- Oregon Battle of the Books, or OBOB for short, is a really fun and challenging program for students who love to read, love to explore new and interesting books/genres, and enjoy answering questions (trivia) in fast paced competitions (battles).
- We will be meeting every other week in the library with Mrs. Weston during lunch/recess.
- Our school tournament will be held during lunches throughout February 2027.
- The official Regional OBOB Tournament will be in mid-March 2027. The State OBOB Tournament will be in April 17, 2027 at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR.

Titles can be found as ebooks/audiobooks on Sora. (Sora Links will be updated in September 2026)
All titles are available through the Tualatin Public Library (Washington County Libraries - WCCLS). If you don't have a Public Library Card yet, you can find out how to get an e-access card here.
Books can be checked out from the OBOB display in our Byrom Elementary Library (2 books may be checked out at a time).
