Thornwood High School’s Counseling Department supports Thornwood High School's, and Thornton Township High Schools District 205’s, mission statements through a comprehensive, developmental, and holistic plan that ensures all students are provided an opportunity to be successful academically, social/emotionally, and in preparation for college and career readiness. The counseling team is a devoted partner with all school and district personnel, students, parents, and community members determine and address student needs. These needs are addressed through proactive services and programs for all students to acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to live as productive citizens and life-long learners in a changing global society.
