Meet the Instructor
Your teacher, Ms. Bourné (bor-nay), was born in Chicago, IL to loving parents and was raised on the Southside of the city and in the southern suburbs. She is the eldest of 9 children and currently sings in the family band with her siblings and mother.
Your teacher, Ms. Bourné (bor-nay), was born in Chicago, IL to loving parents and was raised on the Southside of the city and in the southern suburbs. She is the eldest of 9 children and currently sings in the family band with her siblings and mother.
Ms. Bourné attended Olivet Nazarene University for 3 years pursuing a degree in elementary education before life changes led her to work in the non-profit sector. She then completed her Bachelor's at Roosevelt University, with a focus in Political Science & Public Administration. Later, she returned to National Louis University where she obtained a Masters in Education. She has been teaching at Thornridge High School since 2014; the school from which she graduated in the class of '96!
