Through hands-on competitions students are provided with the tools to succeed in any workplace. Not only that, but our students also perform well in critical leadership and teamwork scenarios each year. Whether it is solo or as a team, our students rank highly in any competition they choose.
CNS program related competitions
The competition is defined by industry standards based on elements of the latest published
CompTIA A+ certification. The competition also has elements from the CompTIA Network+
and Security+ certifications, as well as industry trends as collected by the technical committee.
The competition is defined by current industry technical standards and will consist of five parts:
An end-to-end network configuration, a troubleshooting exercise, a simulation TAC call, a
written exam, and a design project.
The purpose of the performance/hands-on component of the competition will be to evaluate the ability to install, terminate, test, and manage telecommunications cabling. The ability to quickly attain and apply new skills and technology is also necessary.
